Vancouver, British Columbia, February 20th, 2018
Telson Resources Inc. (TSXV – TSN) (the “Company” or “Telson”) announces that, in connection with the recent commencement of pre-production mining at the Company’s Tahuehueto and Campo Morado mines, the Company’s Board of Directors have determined to change the Company’s name to “Telson Mining Corporation”. The change will become effective at the open on Wednesday, February 21, 2018.
Antonio Berlanga, Chief Executive Officer and Director of the Company commented “Telson has been a publicly listed exploration and development company for many years, and I would like to extend our thanks to our President Ralph Shearing, who persevered often through challenging times to build a resource/reserve at our Tahuehueto project. Over the past couple of years, our management and Mexican mining team have made tremendous progress to advance Tahuehueto to pre-production mining and of course acquire and restart pre-production mining and processing activities at Campo Morado. We are extremely proud of these significant developments at Tahuehueto and Campo Morado over the past year and thrilled to have both projects in the pre-production mining stage, with concentrates being regularly delivered from both mines. Our new name reflects the significant development of our assets, and our new focus as a mining issuer”.
The Company will continue to trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under its current symbol ‘TSN’.
On behalf of the board of directors
(signed) “Ralph Shearing”
