Biricu (Au), Guerrero

Biricu (100% owned) is the next largest gold skarn target with its proximity and geological resemblance to the Los Filos-Bermejal-Nukay gold mines in the Guerrero Gold Belt (“GGB”). Several million ounces of gold has been discovered along this mineralized trend since the 1990s which continues to increase with further brownfields resource expansion and new greenfields discoveries. The project was discovered by skarn expert and mineral discoverer Mr. David M. Jones, whom over five years and $15M discovered 4 million ounces of gold in what eventually became to be known as the Los Filos gold deposit. He created the geological model responsible for multiple discoveries in what is now known as the ~30 Moz ‘Guerrero Gold Belt’ or ‘GGB’. Current producing mines include Equinox Gold’s Los Filos mine and Torex Gold’s Morelos Complex, and deposits include Heliostar’s Ana Paula deposit, Zacatecas Silver’s Esperanza deposit and Luca Mining Corp’s Campo Morado mine. One of the first operating mines was the Nukay mine which historically produced 290,000 oz. A 9,857 drill program was completed with key drilling intercepts including: 98.17 m grading 0.42 g/t Au including 26.98 m grading 1.07 g/t Au 6.85 m grading 2.78 g/t Au 0.95 m grading 6.51 g/t Au 0.42 m grading 8.90 g/t Au. Infrastructure with roads, electricity and water with good community relations.
