Montgomery and Associates is planning to diamond drill four holes of approximately 600 meters depth to collect around 20 groundwater samples from each hole
One World Lithium Inc (CSE:OWLI) (OCTMKTS:OWRDF) announced Thursday that it has appointed Montgomery and Associates as the operator for its upcoming drill programs at the Salar del Diablo lithium brine project in Mexico.
Vancouver-based OWL told investors that Montgomery and Associates is planning to diamond drill four holes of approximately 600 meters depth to collect around 20 groundwater samples from each hole
Montgomery and Associates will recommend a second phase of exploration once sample results are returned from the laboratory.

An international consulting firm, Montgomery and Associates has worked with leading mining companies across the Americas, including Mexico.
Heading up the Montgomery and Associates team is Mike Rosko, who has extensive experience in salar environments, according to OWL. Rosko manages the firm’s Santiago office. Mike has been the operator for many similar lithium brine projects including Galaxy Lithium’s Sal de Vida project, Millennial Lithium’s Pasto-Grandes project, and Lithium America Corporation’s Cauchari-Olaroz project.
OWL said that an initial site visit is planned for September 9 to familiarize Montgomery and Associates with Salar del Diablo, a large 103,000-hectare lithium brine project in the State of Baja California, Mexico. Members of OWL’s executive team, including CEO Doug Fulcher and former operator John Hiner, will work with Montgomery and Associates to finalize protocol documents for drilling, sampling and testing.
Initial holes are already covered by existing permits, OWL said in a release. Drilling is slated to start in late September or early October 2019.
