MAG Silver Corp. (TSX: T.MAG, Stock Forum) Thursday announced the appointment of George Paspalas as its President and Chief Executive Officer effective October 15, 2013, this according to a company news release. He will replace Dan MacInnis, who is retiring but will remain a member of MAGs board of directors. Paspalas was the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Aurizon Mines, which was recently acquired by Hecla Mining Company. He was also Chief Operating Office at Silver Standard earlier in his career.
