The Discoveries 2024 Mining Conference, organized by Mexico Mining Center and recognized as one of the most important technical conferences in Latin America focused on exploration, innovation and mining development, celebrated its tenth anniversary in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, May 21-23.
“Today’s results represent some of the highest-grade gold intercepts drilled to date at the Panuco Project,” commented Michael Konnert, President & CEO. “Our ongoing infill program, targeting the near-surface ultra high-grade zone at Copala continues to deliver exceptional silver and gold grades over very broad widths.”
“The 2024 Camino Rojo Extension drill program has yielded exciting results, including multiple significant mineralized intersections outside the current resource and excellent metallurgical testing outcomes.”
Prime Mining Corp. Chief Executive Officer Scott Hicks commented, “Following up on our April news release, in which we shared the discovery of a new shoot at the south-east end of Z-T, the drill results we are reporting today again reflect the high-grade nature of the Z-T Trend and its continuity at depth and along strike.”
Greg McKenzie, President and CEO, commented: “We are pleased with the strong drill results from the San Marcos Mine, where we have intersected high-grade mineralization in both the South & North Zones approximately 100 m below the last mined stopes.”
Silver Tiger’s CEO, Glenn Jessome, stated, “In line with previous assay results, the Footwall and Keel Zone are showing significant potential for expansion over the 2023 MRE” Mr. Jessome further stated, “The results may increase the updated MRE associated with the PFS-level study, as well as further de-risk the project.”
“At La Colorada, we discovered an entirely new set of vein structures with high silver grades to the east and southeast of the main NC2 vein. At El Peñon, drill results from the Pampa Sur zone bode well for potential mineral resource additions close to the existing mine infrastructure, with additional potential in the largely unexplored southern area of the mine,” said Christopher Emerson, Pan American’s Vice President of Exploration and Geology.
Riverside’s President and CEO, John-Mark Staude, stated: “We are delighted to consolidate Maria Luisa into the larger Ariel project as this has been a goal for several years and was able to be completed on highly favorable terms for Riverside. This now provides the opportunity to move forward with drilling at both Ariel and Maria Luisa.”
“We are very pleased that significant work has commenced so quickly on the El Oro Tailings Project,” says Joanne Freeze, President and CEO of Xali Gold. “The fact that KCA is using Starcore’s already permitted mine plant site nearby for the reprocessing, has potential to allow us to get the El Oro Tailings Project running sooner than expected.”
