BOWMORE Exploration Ltd.: Permitting and Road Access Completed on Chivas Property, Sonora, Mexico

Bowmore Exploration Ltd. is pleased to announce that all necessary permitting and road access has been completed on the Chivas property located in Sonora, Mexico, in preparation for the upcoming drill program. The Chivas property is optioned from Amex Exploration Inc. (AMX: TSX-V). The company completed 20 km in road maintenance and widening and also completed 12 km in road construction to allow access for a conventional drill rig to the targeted zones identified by previous work programs. Work began in early December 2011 and was recently completed with access to the Silica Cap, Mesa Blanca, and the Mesa zones. All drill pads have been prepared to test the IP and TerraSpect anomalies along the mentioned altered zones where previous exploration work in 2010 and 2011 identified a large low sulphidation epithermal system and the discovery of a large silica zone within the Chivas property (see news releases dated October 26, 2010, July 14, 2011 and November 21, 2011).

Evrim Resources Reports Drill Results from the Suaqui Verde Property

Evrim Resources Corp. is pleased to report initial results from the on-going drill program at the Suaqui Verde copper-molybdenum porphyry project in Sonora, Mexico. Evrim and funding partner Inmet Mining Corporation have received assay results for six drill holes totaling 2,625 metres of an expanded 6,200 metre drill program. The program is designed to test a combination of geophysical targets and exposed surface targets within the Adriana system and the surrounding basin.

La Parrilla Mill Expansion to 2,000 tpd Completed: Del Toro Construction Update

First Majestic Silver Corp. is proud to announce that the new La Parrilla flotation/cyanidation plant was inaugurated in a ceremony at the La Parrilla Silver Mine in the State of Durango, Mexico on January 19, 2012, in which approximately 150 people attended including several Mexican Federal, State and Municipal authorities. The Federal Government was represented by the Lic. Jimena Valverde Valdez, General Coordinator of Mining for the Secretary of the Economy while the State of Durango was represented by Ing. Hector Vela Valenzuela, Secretary General of the Governor of Durango, both of whom declared the new plant as officially open.

Soltoro intercepts 16.75 metres of 565 gpt Silver at the El Rayo Project in Jalisco Mexico.

Soltoro Ltd. has received results for an additional twelve diamond drill holes at the El Rayo primary silver deposit in Jalisco, Mexico. All twelve holes were completed on the Soledad structure. The Soledad structure is one of three deposits that make up the existing 77.4 million ounce measured and indicated in-pit silver resource. The east-west trending Soledad deposit was recently added to the resource where an initial 13 million ounces of silver has been defined to date. None of the drill results reported in this release were included in the existing resource. To date at Soledad, two high-grade silver zones (Central and Western) have been identified.

Lone Star Gold, Inc. Receives Positive Findings and Extends Commitment to Mexico-Based La Candelaria Gold-Silver Project to Facilitate Next Stage of Exploration

Lone Star Gold, Inc has filed an amendment to its La Candelaria Definitive Agreement in order to extend the Company’s work commitment to the project until March 11, 2012. With the extension in place until March 11, Lone Star will have the opportunity to drill 3-4 deep core holes to add to the Company’s understanding of the Mexico-based project’s mineral potential.

Oremex Gold Obtains Surface Access Rights Agreement for Santa Catarina Gold Project

The Company signed a surface access rights agreement covering 129 hectares with a 30 year duration – The Company is securing drill permits for the commencement of the first phase of drilling at Santa Catarina gold project – A ground geophysical survey is anticipated to commence in Q1, 2012 – Initial drill testing is planned for Q2, 2012

SilverCrest Updates Corporate Resources

SilverCrest Mines Inc. is pleased to provide an updated summary of its corporate mineral resources. The Company now has reported NI 43-101 compliant resources at the Santa Elena Mine, Cruz de Mayo property and La Joya property in Mexico (see table below). The addition of the initial La Joya Inferred Resources of 101.9 million ounces silver equivalent resulted in corporate Inferred Resources increasing by 424% from 24.0 million to 126.0 million silver equivalent ounces. The Company’s combined Probable and Indicated Resources (based on US$18 per ounce silver, US$1000 per ounce gold, and Ag:Au at 55:1) declined by 14.7% from 36.2 million to 30.9 million silver equivalent ounces as a result of production at the Santa Elena Mine in 2010 and 2011.

Copper Creek to Begin Drilling on Santa Lucia Gold-Silver Project

Copper Creek Gold Corp. is pleased to announce that the Company will soon commence a core drilling program on its Santa Lucia gold-silver project located 200 kilometres southeast of Hermosillo in Sonora, Mexico. Copper Creek may earn a 60% interest in Santa Lucia from Kootenay Gold Inc. (KTN-V) by spending $2,000,000.00 in exploration and making modest cash and share payments to Kootenay over a 4 year period. It is anticipated that drilling will begin in the second week of February, 2012.

Catalyst Copper announces a 71% resource increase for La Verde copper porphyry

Catalyst Copper Corp. today announced an updated Measured plus Indicated Resource of 354.1 million tonnes grading 0.41% Cu; 0.043 g/t Au; 2.3 g/t Ag at its La Verde copper porphyry deposit in Michoacán State, Mexico. This represents a 71% increase in tonnage and 54% in contained copper over the previous resource released in January, 2011 (Table 1)
