MAG Silver Confirms Start of Phase 2 Drill Program on Canasil’s La Esperanza Project in Durango and Zacatecas States, Mexico

Canasil Resources Inc. announces that MAG Silver Corp. has confirmed that the Phase 2 drill program has started and is currently in progress at Canasil’s La Esperanza silver-lead-zinc project in Durango and Zacatecas States, Mexico. The planned program includes up to 3,500 metres of diamond drilling to test silver-lead-zinc veins in the northwest of the project area. This drill program will be part of the CAD 1,500,000 exploration expenditures required between September 2012 and September 2013 under the option agreement for MAG to earn a 60% interest in the La Esperanza project.

Fresnillo approves study for San Julian project

Mexican silver producer Fresnillo PLC said Thursday the Board has approved the feasibility study for the development of the 500 million dollar San Julian silver project, is a key project in reaching the Company’s goal to produce 65 million ounces of silver and 500,000 ounces of gold per year by 2018.

Oroco Resources Corp : October 22 2012 Xochipala Amparo Filed

Oroco Resource Corp. announces that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Minera Xochipala S.A. de C.V. has been served with notice of an “amparo” petition seeking to overturn the registration to MX by the Mexican Public Registry of Mining of an interest in the Celia Gene and Celia Generosa mineral concessions located in Guerrero State, Mexico. The registration process in question began with an application by MX in March, 2008 to the PRM for registration of its 2007 acquisition of the Xochipala Concessions, including the interest purchased from the estate of a Mexican citizen, Hector Camacho (the “Camacho Estate”), which constituted fifty percent (50%) of the Celia Gene concession and all (100%) of the Celia Generosa concession.

The holes were drilled as part of Almaden’s on-going four drill exploration program which has been designed to enable the calculation of a preliminary resource estimate.
