Silver Dollar Resources Inc. is pleased to report the progress in its new target development work at the underexplored Noria portion of the La Joya Silver Project located in the state of Durango, Mexico.

“A bulk sample at Pilar is an important next step in showcasing the head-grade and recovery of gold,” stated Brodie Sutherland, CEO. “We are very fortunate to have access to a local facility with all the needed equipment and support staff to conduct the sample. Planning is now underway to begin the collection and processing of the sample in early 2023.”

This program has de-risked the geological complexity and provides us with the confidence needed before moving to the next stage, which is drilling.”

GR Silver Mining Chairman and CEO, Eric Zaunscherb comments, “As GR Silver’s team peeled the geological onion, the importance of cross structures in the overall Plomosas story was revealed. Our most recent results confirm that younger, crosscutting structures appear to be contributing additional precious metals mineralization in the main polymetallic Plomosas Breccia and beyond into its hanging wall and footwall.”

“The acquisition of Centauro directly ties into our thesis that certain geological terrains of northcentral México are highly prospective to host “Carlin-style” and/or low sulphidation epithermal gold deposits. The many Carlin-style geological features we see at both Centauro and Pedro strongly support this concept,” stated David Tupper, Southern Empire’s VP of Exploration.

The primary objectives of the 2021 – 2022 exploration program was to better define the open pit, heap leach gold potential of the porphyry oxide cap at the California Zone, evaluate the potential for deeper copper-gold porphyry sulfide mineralization underlying the oxide cap, test for north and west extensions of the California Zone mineralization at California North and Jasper, and assess the breccia potential of Purisima East.
