Paul D. Gray, Luca VP Exploration, commented, “The Tahuehueto Team is extremely excited with the results from these, the first drillholes that the Project has seen in over 12 years. The results from the four drill holes have confirmed key exploration objectives”

“We continue to intersect satellite zones that are open to expansion including 24 metres grading 5.10 g/t gold, over 150 metres below the base of the High Grade Panel and 3 metres grading 21.4 g/t gold in the Parallel Panel. These indicate that more infill drilling can add higher grade ounces to the Ana Paula resource model.”

President, Scott Emerson, commented: “The distribution of the pathfinder elements supports and confirms the drill target areas selected for testing in the upcoming drill program. In addition to testing the depth extent of known quartz vein, silver rich mineralization, the drill program will also test gold enriched targets along the Soledad and Soledad II structures/vein systems where intrusion-related precious metal mineralization may be present.”

“These initial drill results confirm CRD-style mineralization and provide evidence that we may have a mineralized system similar to the historic Ojuela silver mine” said Peter Latta, President.

The core program was designed and managed by Tocvan with the aim to infill and step out on known mineralization corridors.

Kootenay’s President & CEO, James McDonald states, “Recent holes on the F Vein to fill large drill gaps have intersected similar and slightly better grades than previous holes, a positive sign for future infill drilling. In the case of the I-Vein and Preciosa structure they both represent excellent targets for discovery of additional high grade mineralized shoots so keep an eye out for follow up drilling.”
