“Results from our first 20 diamond drill holes are demonstrating the El Favor deposit is hosted by a large scale zone of semi-parallel silver and gold bearing structures. The deposit is open along strike and at depth and may be amenable to bulk mining,” said Brad Langille, President and CEO.
Taj Singh, President and CEO, states: “We continue to confirm and expand the strike extent of the high-grade vein systems at Cordero. Step out holes at Parcionera have doubled the drill-confirmed strike extent to at least 1 km with clear potential for further expansion to the northeast. A review of historic drill core also indicates that Parcionera has a depth extent of at least 470 m. Drilling at the Josefina vein trend intercepted high-grade veins, several of which were within broader zones of disseminated mineralization. This opens the possibility of expanding the higher-grade bulk-tonnage domain to the east, potentially incorporating sections of the Josefina vein trend. We look forward to the results of follow-up drilling targeting this potential expansion.”
Thomas Atkins, President and CEO of Mammoth commented on the receipt of this drill permit, stating: “Since the recent announcement two weeks ago wherein Mammoth received surface access approval from the second of two ejidos enabling surface access on the Tenoriba project, Mammoth is now in receipt of the drill permit to drill up to 139 locations at its Tenoriba gold-silver property. All permissions are now in hand to enable Mammoth drilling Tenoriba.”
Xtierra Inc. has completed the first two drill holes and 732 meters of a planned five drill holes totaling 1500 meters into previously identified areas of high-grade silver mineralization.
Mel Herdrick, Sonoro’s VP Exploration, commented, “The good gold grades and wide intervals returned from the latest drilling results continue to add to the Buena Suerte mineralized zone and show that it has now become a large area with significant resource potential. I look forward to this zone being added to the next resource study which is to be conducted in the coming months.”
The work completed during the month of December focused on several different priorities including stream sediment sampling, detailed geological mapping and chip sampling of mineralization.
GR Silver Mining President and CEO, Marcio Fonseca, commented, “These are extraordinary drilling results from the Plomosas Mine Area, indicating potential for size and scalability in the geological model to host attractive precious and base metals mineralization in areas close to existing underground development. We will continue with underground drilling in the vicinity of this polymetallic mineralization in 2021 and will also apply the technical knowledge to look for similar mineralization in other targets in the Plomosas Silver Project.”
