Golden Minerals Discovers New Vein and Intersects Excellent Gold and Silver Grades at its Yoquivo Project in Chihuahua, Mexico

Warren Rehn, President and Chief Executive Officer of Golden Minerals, commented, “These excellent drill results from Yoquivo highlight its potential to host economic gold-silver mineralization. This recent drilling has identified multiple veins with potentially economic gold-silver grades, including a newly discovered vein without previous historic mining within our district scale property holdings. We plan to follow with a second phase drill program which could start in the next few months.”

Minera Alamos Provides Santana Mine Construction Update

“We have made tremendous progress towards the completion of construction at the Santana gold project since activities were allowed to restart around the middle of last year following the widespread Covid-19 shutdowns. Major civil works are now drawing to an end and the focus has shifted towards the final placement of field connections required for fluid handling systems involved in the leach process.”

Defiance Doubles Land Position at Tepal

Chris Wright, Chairman & CEO of Defiance commented, “The agreement to acquire this additional license more than doubles Defiance’s footprint at the Tepal Project. Not only does the land package contain good exploration potential, the license area underlies key proposed mine infrastructure as defined by the 2017 Preliminary Economic Assessment.”

GoGold Announces New Discovery at El Orito in Los Ricos North Including 43m averaging 323 g/t AgEq

“We are really excited about this new discovery which is 1.2km to the west of the El Favor deposit. These are the first holes that have ever been drilled in this area of Los Ricos North. These strong results further strengthen our belief that Los Ricos North is a very large mineralized system,” said Brad Langille, President and CEO. “For Los Ricos we see 2021 being a year where more resources may be defined, and there is the potential for further discoveries like El Orito.”

Mammoth Commences 2021 Field Exploration Program

“Our personnel are following guidelines suggested by leading medical experts while we advance activities at Tenoriba to position the project for the infill IP/Mag geophysics survey scheduled to commence mid-February. Once completed, the new geophysical data will be incorporated into the 3D modelling of all historic and new geophysical data, plus all surface and drill data, to assist in selecting drill targets for the Mammoth’s upcoming 2021 drill program.”

Vizsla Extends Papayo Prospect to the South at Panuco Project, Mexico

Vizsla President and CEO, Michael Konnert, commented: “Papayo now extends over 240 meters of strike with two parallel veins containing mineralization and remains open. It is located approximately 1km north of the Napoleon discovery and is one of a number of targets along the vein corridor.”

Southern Silver Extends Oxide-Gold and Sulphide Zones at Cerro Las Minitas with 6.1 Metres Averaging 344g/t Ag, 5.7% Pb and 3.9% Zn (728g/t AgEq) and 1.0 Metre Grading 1070g/t Ag, 23.3% Pb and 3.2% Zn (1,937g/t AgEq)

President Lawrence Page, Q. C. noted: “The present mineral resource estimate is based upon results derived from drill holes situate on the West side of the Cerro. Results from seventeen drill holes located on the East side of the Cerro, many containing high-grade mineralization, are not included in the 2019 Resource Estimate. Drilling currently being conducted on the east side of the Cerro is producing significant values of both oxide and sulphide mineralization, the results of which, together with results of the seventeen drill holes previously drilled, will be incorporated into an updated 43-101 Mineral Resource Estimate leading to further economic assessment studies incorporating all data later in 2021.”
