HERMOSILLO, Mexico, May 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Silver Scott Mines, Inc. (OTC: SILS) is pleased to announce the near completion of construction at the Carmen mine and processing site.  Crushing machinery with associated rolling stock equipment is now arriving and planned to be operational in approximately two weeks.   Leach pad and ponds with contractor installed HDPE plastic liners have been completed.   Detailed laser topography data has also been acquired over the old mine and newly prepared plant sites by a local contractor service provider.  This provider will also monitor in successive scans, to accurately determine the volumes of rock produced.

Plans for the project site for the remainder of the year include processing of up to 100,000 tonnes of mineralized rock using contractor mining services.  This will be accomplished through the utilization of the portable crusher plant due to arrive within the next few days. As soon as sufficient mineralized rock has been crushed and placed on the leach pad, the precious metal leaching solution will be applied. Decisions regarding additional production beyond 100,000 tonnes will be assessed by the end of July, 2013.

Mel Herdrick, company QP and Registered Geologist of the company commented, “Advancement of the Carmen project into initial scale levels of producing precious metals is now progressing rapidly. Our overall corporate goal is to explore, define, and produce gold and silver by heap leach mine methods and continue expansion of the projects potential.”
