MEXICO CITY, Dec 6 (Reuters) – Mexican authorities will investigate an incident at a gold mine in the Pacific coastal state of Guerrero which killed three workers, President Claudia Sheinbaum said on Friday.
Canadian company Torex Gold (TXG.TO), opens new tab, which operates the mine, reported on Thursday that two employees and a contractor had been killed after being exposed to carbon monoxide gas.
Another contractor was exposed and hospitalized, Torex said in a statement. It paused operations.
