Hermosillo, Sonora – June 4, 2020 – Mexico Mining Center announces that the Discoveries 2020 Mining Conference is rescheduled for November 11 – 13, 2020.
Douglas Coleman, President and CEO, states: “Our priority is the safety of all conference participants and we are working hand in hand with state and federal government officials, as well as the directors of Expo Guadalajara to implement the highest level health protocols. The next two months will be a period of preparation and transition for airports, hotels, and convention centers to adjust to the new normal, and we believe that the procedures for conducting our event will be well established and tested by November. Discoveries will continue to be the best conference in Latin America to do business and network with key industry players.”
The Discoveries Mining Conference is one of the foremost international conferences focused on mining exploration, innovation and development. The conference will feature an exhibition area with 200 booths and over 50 key players of the mining industry will give presentations on a wide variety of topics ranging from new mineral discoveries to the latest technology and concepts being applied to all stages of mining. This year’s venue will be the beautiful and traditional city of Guadalajara, a modern financial and cultural center that has world-class restaurants and hotels and excellent communication by air and land. Discoveries 2020 will be held at the Expo Guadalajara, Mexico’s largest and most modern convention center.
The directors of Mexico Mining Center would like to thank the sponsors, exhibitors and speakers for their participation in Discoveries 2020. New health and safety protocols will be published and regularly updated on the Discoveries Conference website, www.discoveriesconference.com.
“We expect to see a boom in mining activity as we go forward into 2021, with higher metals prices, more financings and increased investment in grassroots exploration. Discoveries will be well-positioned in November to provide the business and networking opportunities required by the industry as mining activity reaches new highs.”
