Toronto, Ontario–(Newsfile Corp. – October 10, 2012) – Pacific Comox Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:PCM) reports that Cesar Lemas, the Companys Manager of operations in Mexico, and Vice-President of Development, has been appointed to the Board of Directors.
Cesar holds a M.S. in Mineral Economics, 1982 and B.S. in Geological Engineering, 1978 from the University of Arizona. Since 1978, Cesar has been an employee/consultant with Cominco, Phelps Dodge, Teck Resources, BP, USMX, Scorpio Mining, and several junior exploration/development companies.
Cesar has been involved with the selection, acquisition and exploration of the Mexican properties since 2002 and is now in charge of the installation of the test heap leach operation on the Mabel property.
The access road has now been upgraded, the leach pad and yard area have been cleared and contoured and construction of the 10,000 tonne leach pad is underway.
