Vancouver, B.C. – West Melville Metals Inc. (WMM: TSX-V) (“West Melville” or “the Company”) announces the appointment of Ms. Vivien Chuang as Chief Financial Officer, and Ms. Dayna Leigh as Corporate Secretary, effective immediately.
Ms. Chuang is a Chartered Accountant (British Columbia, Canada) with more than ten years of experience in the resource and mining sector. She articled with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University. Most recently, Ms. Chuang served as the Chief Financial Officer of Northern Empire Resources Corp., Precipitate Gold Corp., Azincourt Uranium Inc., and Remo Resources Inc.
Dayna Leigh is a paralegal with 9 years of experience as a Corporate Secretary for junior exploration companies. Ms. Leigh has been Corporate Secretary of Ethos Gold Corp. since June 2010 and Sonoro Metals Corp. since May 2008. Formerly she was Corporate Secretary for Pediment Gold Corp. from April 2007 until January 2011, when Pediment was taken over by Argonaut Gold Inc.
These appointments come with the departure of Mr. Jonathan Singh as Chief Financial Officer and Ms. Brenda Nowak as Corporate Secretary. The Company wishes to thank Mr. Singh and Ms. Nowak for their contributions to West Melville and wishes them every success with future endeavours.
