United States Antimony (NYSE:UAMY) +5% in early trading Monday and up more than 40% since August 15 after China said it will impose export controls on some antimony products starting September 15, adding to measures imposed by the government since last year to curb shipments of strategic minerals.
Radius Gold Inc. and joint venture partner, Volcanic Gold Mines Inc. reports that Volcanic has fulfilled the modified Option Agreement and earned a 60% interest in Radius’s Holly and Motagua Norte Properties in Guatemala by spending US$7 million in exploration expenditures.

Processing has resumed at the Guanacevi mine site. Temporary modifications have been completed within the plant to re-purpose one of the regrind mills as the primary ball mill which is currently milling at a rate of 400 tonnes per day.
