Alliance Mining Corp. Acquires Claims Contiguous With Agnico-Eagle’s Las Bolas Property and Fresnillo’s Orisyvo Discovery, Mexico

Alliance Mining Corp. is pleased to announce that it has signed a binding Letter of Intent with a private Canadian company to acquire 22 mineral claims totaling nearly 50 square kilometres (4,872 hectares) primarily in the Uruachic district of northwestern Mexico. The land package puts Alliance in the heart of a prolific gold exploration area and includes the closest privately held claims, within four kilometres, to Fresnillo PLC’s important Orisyvo discovery (www.fresnilloplc.com). Fresnillo is the second-largest gold producer in Mexico and the world’s largest primary silver producer.

Southridge Minerals Reports Third Quarter Production Revenues and Profits

Southridge Enterprises Inc. is pleased to announce today that Southridge Minerals, Inc., its wholly owned subsidiary, announces today it recently filed its financial results with the OTC Markets for the third quarter of fiscal 2012. The Company reported net income of $311,611 on revenues of $942,314 for the period ending May 31, 2012. The results for the quarter represented the achievement of a significant milestone for the Company in its initiation of mineral production at the Cinco Minas facility in Jalisco, Mexico.

Mineras mexicanas anuncian inversión de US6,700 millones

Las tres mayores empresas mineras con capital mexicano: Grupo México, Industrias Peñoles y Frisco anunciaron que invertirán 6,715 millones de dólares en el 2012 y el 2013, manteniéndose en sus máximos niveles históricos en ese rubro.
Xavier García de Quevedo, presidente de Grupo México, informó que su empresa programa invertir 1,400 millones de dólares en el 2013, un alza de 34% frente a los niveles previstos del 2012.

Paramount Gold and Silver Secures Critical Water Rights for Its 100%-Own San Miguel Project in Mexico

Paramount Gold and Silver Corp. today announced it has received final confirmation from CONAGUA, a division of SERMANAT, Mexico’s Environmental and Natural Resources Ministry, granting Paramount permanent rights to 995,000 cubic meters of water per year for its San Miguel Project, equivalent to 31.6 liters per second. Paramount conducted pumping tests to determine that this extraction rate would not affect phreatic levels in the surrounding area.
